Lelei Coyle, Board Member

Lelei earned her BA from Denison University with a degree in English and Psychology. A lifelong east-coaster, Lelei and her husband, Chris moved from Connecticut to Idaho in 2014 looking to raise their three young boys in a place that offered the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and a community that valued shared access to public land.

The years before moving to Idaho, Lelei was an elementary school teacher, an Outward Bound instructor for the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, and a high school girl’s lacrosse coach. She was also an avid volunteer for her boy’s schools and sat on the Board of Trustees for the Wilton Library. When she moved to Boise, Lelei pursued volunteerism and community engagement and became involved with her children’s school as a representative and perennial volunteer. She is also a member of the Idaho Woman’s Charitable Foundation where she has enjoyed learning more about local organizations from being a part of the Grants Committee.

Since moving to Idaho, Lelei and her family have embraced the accessibility to the outdoors and feel immense gratitude for the opportunity to freely explore and roam the beautiful lands of Idaho. She understands the value of outdoor engagement and can often be found hiking, camping, skiing, biking, and learning how to fly fish with her friends and family.
