Idaho Business for the Outdoors is excited to announce a special private event to our business members and your employees this month. Together with Patagonia, we are bringing you an early virtual screening of Public Trust: The Fight for America's Public Lands. Public Trust, executively produced by Robert Redford and Patagonia’s founder Yvon Chouinard  won't be publicly released until the end of September. The screening will take place August 26, 2020 starting at 7 pm MST and will be promptly followed by a post panel discussion featuring:

  • Merrill Beyeler, Owner of Beyler Ranches

  • Laurel Sayer, CEO Midas Gold

  • Frank Leone, Manger of George’s Cycles and Fitness

  • Ilana Rubel, Idaho Representative and Minority Leader of the House of Representatives

As a non-partisian business member based organization, founded to support the value of our outdoors and public lands, we're honored to have the opportunity to share this film with our business members, their employees, and our communities across Idaho. Idaho Business for the Outdoors supports education, research and advocacy to ensure that our public lands remain public. Of Idaho’s landmass, 63% are public lands. The value of our public lands in Idaho cannot be overstated. This film explores the threats facing our public lands and the work of those stepping up to fight for America's treasured places.

We believe we are all beneficiaries of healthy outdoors and public lands and have an important role to play in preserving them. If you are interested in viewing the film, we are asking for a small donation of $10 per person. Please RSVP for the event here.
